Southeast Asia second hand bags can be sold on the ground

The policies of Southeast Asian countries are clearly differentiated: in addition to the traditional wholesale of large quantities on the B-side of the whole cabinet, there are also 6 forms of differentiated development, which take into account risk control and shipment volume, and adapt to different capital sizes.

##1. Regional bonded transit distribution model

The goods are first shipped to the Port Klang Free Trade Zone / Singapore Free Port / Hong Kong Bonded Warehouse in Malaysia. They do not enter the local ordinary customs. They are sorted, graded, photographed, and re-packed in the free trade zone, and then split into small cabinets /LCL according to the order. They are sent to Thailand, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar and other different countries.

-Advantages: One cabinet of goods is supplied to customers in multiple countries, and the inventory is flexibly allocated, and it can be transferred to other markets if it is not sold out.
-Operating points: high-value bags are matched with the inspection and appraisal report; only sorting is done in the free trade zone, and no in-depth refurbishment is done; the bill of lading is marked as re-exported goods, and local consumption and imports are not declared.
-Adaptation: There is a full cabinet of goods, I hope to do multi-country coverage, and I don’t want to single-press the risk of a certain country.

##2. Collection + supply mode for used stores (B-terminal light-pressed goods, mainstream stable mode)

Not directly facing the C-terminal, it is a domestic collection service provider for local second-hand stores and online second-hand sellers in Southeast Asia.Overseas customers provide product selection requirements, Jinmao’s Chinese factory screens, grades the color, and ships in bulk according to the order. It can be FCL or assembled in small batches.

-Cooperation conditions: standardized color grading A/B/C, a full set of pictures and defect points for each precious bag, to reduce the cost of buyer inspection Alibaba Se…。
-Market focus: There are a large number of used stores in Bangkok, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; a large number of small and medium-sized sellers in the Philippines and Indonesia purchase goods through cross-border sources.
-Advantages: Sales-based procurement reduces the risk of overseas hoarding, high customer stickiness, and stable returns.

##3. Small batch LCL + bulk batch mode (developed by small and medium-sized customers)

Assemble the orders of different buyers into one container, and no longer require customers to fill the whole cabinet at once.It is suitable for a large number of small and medium-sized wholesalers in Southeast Asia and online sellers of TikTok/Carousell. They have limited funds and cannot get the whole cabinet, but the frequency of repurchases is very high.

-Product layering: part of the high-value A-class luxury package, part of the B-class commuter second-hand package, mixed cabinet consolidation.
-Note: LCL delivery to the Philippines can only take small-batch cross-border e-commerce channels

##4. Cross-border online supply model (empowering local sellers, not doing their own retail)

###Method A: Supply to local sellers of TikTok Shop and Carousell in Southeast Asia

Do not open your own shop and operate, do the supply chain, and supply local stores.The second-hand luxury goods category of TikTok in Southeast Asia needs to be reported. The threshold for Chinese entities to open stores directly is high, but the qualifications of local sellers are easier to handle, and a large number of sellers are looking for stable overseas sources of goods.Jinmao factory outputs the source and pictures of the goods, and local sellers are responsible for live broadcast, retail, and local customs clearance.

##5. Consignment joint venture model (overseas asset-light cooperation)

Cooperate with mature middle-aged physical stores in Thailand and Malaysia to provide goods, place them in the other party’s store for consignment, and then settle the payment after selling them; unsold goods can be returned or transferred to other countries.

-Suitable for: high unit price A-level luxury bags, sufficient funds, but do not want to open a shop directly overseas.
-Risk control: sign a formal consignment agreement, register the serial number of the goods, take regular inventory, and agree on the unsalable return cycle.**Consignment with Indonesia is not recommended, and the import link is easy to be deducted**.

##6. Differentiated business model of graded goods (product structure innovation)

Split the source of goods into two sets of product lines and sell them separately:
1)**A-level boutique second-hand luxury bags**: supplied to second-hand stores in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, with high unit prices and emphasis on identification and color.;
2)**B/C-level cheap commuter second-hand bags**: Mainly in offline markets and sinking markets in Malaysia and the Philippines, the prices are low and the volume is mainly.

# Summary of risks of each model

1. High-risk countries: **Indonesia, Vietnam**, direct import is not recommended, all use the Malaysia/Singapore transit plan;
2. Relatively safe markets: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, can be imported directly through customs clearance;
3. Philippines: Priority small batch cross-border model
